What you'll do!
As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will design, build, and deploy the backend services that power their transformative products, including Create, Stylize, and Studio. You will work with web and video standards to power their suite of web-based video and audio creation/editing tools. You will also dive deep into video container formats and streaming protocols, such as MP4, MKV, HLS, and MP-DASH, and work with tools such as FFMPEG.


You will also work on building and deploying backend services and APIs to their Kubernetes infrastructure, write secure, stable, and scalable Python code, interface with their ground-breaking foundation model, and integrate with SQS, Kafka, S3, and DynamoDB to implement event streaming/processing logic.


You will work with passionate engineers and top researchers to build a truly disruptive and novel technology. We’re looking for full-time hires for their New York or San Francisco offices.


Role Responsibilities

Work with web and video standards to power their suite of web-based video and audio creation/editing tools
Dive deep into video container formats and streaming protocols, such as MP4, MKV, HLS, and MP-DASH, and work with tools such as FFMPEG.
Build and deploy backend services and APIs to their Kubernetes infrastructure.
Write secure, stable, and scalable Python code.

The product
Findfolks is partnering with a foundation model company that focuses on character generation. Their video model, Character-2, is capable of turning text and images into long-form videos of expressive, emotional performance. Unlike other video companies, they are building the whole stack from the video model to the audio, to the underlying intelligence necessary to drive a compelling performance. In the long term, they want to build a platform for automating asynchronous video communication.
