findfolks is partnering with a global company based in Silicon Valley, expanding into Taiwan. Specializing in semiconductor tools for failure analysis and R&D, this role will be the company’s first hire in Hsinchu.
Role Overview:
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: USD 50,000 per year
Location: Hsinchu, Taiwan
Travel: Local and international (China, Malaysia, Singapore, USA); first-year training in San Jose, CA (2-3 months)
Key Responsibilities:
Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair semiconductor tools
Provide technical support via phone, email, and on-site visits
Act as the main contact for customer technical/service issues
Support APAC field service operations and assist with applications
Report issues and provide feedback to the factory
Requirements:
Must-Have:
Fluency in English (technical & professional communication)
Ability to work with technical drawings, math, and diagnostic tools
Understanding of optical and applications engineering (education or experience)
Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability
Nice-to-Have:
2-3 years of hands-on experience in optical/applications engineering
Experience with motor controllers, mechanical, and electrical systems (training provided)
