Position Overview
We are seeking skilled programmers on a contract basis to generate high-quality Python code
samples.
Key Responsibilities
● Develop diverse and well-structured Python code samples.
● Resolve git and GitHub-related issues for open-source projects.
● Diagnose and fix merge conflicts, branching problems, and repository errors.
● Review and implement pull requests to improve codebases.
● Implement bug fixes and provide clear comments/documentation.
● Demonstrate best practices and adhere to industry standards in coding.
Required Qualifications
● Proficiency in Python programming.
● Education: Undergrad or Master’s degree from a top US or Canadian university (e.g., Ivy
League, Stanford, UofT, Waterloo)
● Experience: Internship or full-time role at a top tech company (Big Tech, Fortune 50,
quant finance)
● Skills: Strong Python coding and familiarity with Git/GitHub
● Strong understanding of software development principles and design patterns.
● Ability to write clean, efficient, maintainable code.
● Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
● Familiarity with Git and GitHub.
● Residency in the US or Canada.

Nice to have:
● Recent contributions to large, open-source Python projects (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch)
