Job Description:
We're launching a high-impact no-code/low-code platform to automate complex business processes—leveraging deep LLM integration and the latest cloud-native architecture. You'll be joining the original team that built Agiloft, a company acquired by KKR for $790M, now starting fresh with a clear vision and technical excellence at the core.
As a Founding Back-End Engineer, you’ll have the opportunity to shape the platform’s infrastructure and service architecture from day one. If you're excited about distributed systems, scalability, and working with a deeply experienced technical team—this is the challenge you're
looking for.
Responsibilities
● Develop scalable backend services and APIs using Java/Spring
● Design systems that are fault-tolerant, secure, and performant
● Work in a containerized environment using Docker and Kubernetes
● Contribute to distributed caching, service orchestration, and Postgres clusters
● Collaborate with front-end and DevOps teams to ensure smooth system integration
Qualifications
● 2+ years of hands-on experience in Java (preferably with Spring Boot)
● Solid understanding of containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and
cloud-native services
● Experience with distributed systems and backend scalability patterns
● Familiarity with PostgreSQL and designing robust data models
● A strong academic background—preferably in Computer Science or Math
Benefits
● Work from anywhere as a full-time contractor (but treated like a valued employee)
● Competitive salary, stock options, and 3 weeks of paid vacation or medical leave
● Long-term career path in a company that rewards engineering excellence
● Future revenue sharing once we go to market
Note: We're not just looking for contributors. We're looking for builders. People who want to take ownership, solve real engineering problems, and be part of a product that’s here to stay.
